2/3/7: Complete The High Middle Ages Chart Tuesday: All classes, "Social Structure in the Middle Ages" video and Franks & Feudalsim PowerPoint
Wednesday: 1/4/6: Finish Feudalism PowerPoint, Crash Course: The Crusades Video, Gave out Crusades Reading (Due Monday) 2/3/7: Medieval Church Worksheet, Cruades Video Wednesday 11/14: Finished the Africa Video and looked at the Africa PowerPoint
Thursday 11/15: Took a quiz on Byzantine, Islam, & Africa. Gave oout the Rise of the Franks reading for homework (Due Tomorrow) Friday 11/16 & Monday 11/19: NCSU Graduate Students are going to be working with us in class. You will have homework! We jumped in today talking about ancient and medieval African civilizations by starting the video "Africa: A History Denied" Reminders: 1) If you did not take your test last week, you have until Friday 11-15 to take it. 2) If you were not happy with your test grade, you may complete test corrects (see details on Assignments Page) 3) Thursday: We will be taking a "Quest" (Big Quiz, Little Test) on the Byzantine Empire, Islam, & Africa We were in the media center today in all classes
1/4/6 Periods: Started the "Muslim Empires Online Assignment" 2/3/7 Periods: Started the "Guide to Islam" Assignment We took our test on Monday 11/4. It must be made up by 11/13 if you were absent.
1/4/6 Periods Started talking about the Byzantine Empire. We took some notes (Byzantine Empire PowerPoint), watched the "Fall of Rome Crash Course Video." We also started talking about Islam through a worksheet (Muslim World). It uses the Patterns of Interaction textbook, chapter 10. Lastly, we watched the "Islam" Crash Course Video 2/3/7 Periods Started talking about the Byzantine Empire and Islam. Notes, "Engineering an Empire" video, and Muslim World Worksheet. Reminder: all classes are in the media center on Thursday and Friday! 1/4/6: Fall of Rome group document discussions: In groups, we discussed the reasons for the fall of Rome based on the documents, then we went over them in class. Check the Decline of Rome Powerpoint if you were absent. 2/3/7: Go over reasons for the Fall of Rome.
